Fall 2024 Rec Soccer Information

Georgia Express Rec Soccer Program serves the Johns Creek area.  Practices and home games will be at Cauley Creek Park or Shakerag Elementary School.  All players will need to purchase a uniform as we are converting to a new uniform for Fall 2024.  Registration deadline is August 11.  A late fee of $25 will apply to all registrations completed after August 12 if there are spots available.  Players born 2006-2016 will train twice per week for one hour and will play either on teams or small-sided games on Saturday’s.  Rec practices are typically Tuesday and Thursday for these age groups.  Players born 2017-2018 will practice once a week plus games on Saturday’s.  Our volunteer coaches determine their preferred practice day for players born 2017-2020.  If we do not have parent volunteers for the 2019-2020 age group, then we will only have Saturday sessions.  Our Volunteer coaches will receive supplies and coaches training.  Each Volunteer Coach will require a background check and online SafeSport Child Protection training.

Fall 2024 Costs

• Players born 2017-2020:  $150
• Players born 2013-2020:  $200
• Players born 2009-2012:  $275
• Players born 2006-2008:  $325

Be sure to list any friends or a coach that you would like to play with, we encourage this.  All players should attend each practice with a soccer ball, shin guards, and plenty of water.  Players should arrive for games at least 20 minutes before kickoff.  Players wishing to play-up in age will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Head Coach and Director of Rec Soccer.

Practices should begin the week of August 26 with games September 7-November 2 or 9.  For those players who would like an evaluation for our Georgia Express Academy/SCCL program, click here to sign-up.  Academy tryouts can be scheduled at any time before or during the season if spots are available.

Academy Tryouts

Click here to sign-up for an Academy evaluation.  New players for our competitive Academy and Select programs will be evaluated during our team training.  Academy soccer trains two-three days per week and plays games and tournaments against other competitive teams.  Our Academy is for the player who wants to improve rapidly in soccer.
