Good morning Georgia Express families! We're so excited to have your player joining Georgia Express for the upcoming year. We have had an outstanding turnout across many age groups and are excited about the continued growth of our Academy, SCCL, Premier, and Pre-Academy programs for the 2026–2027 soccer year.
As evaluations continue, we wanted to provide a central location for important next steps, timelines, and additional opportunities for players still interested in joining Georgia Express.

VERBAL OFFERS AND REGISTRATION
Coaches will communicate via text or phone call with invited players beginning May 21. You will confirm acceptance of your spot on the team. Players who verbally accept will receive a registration link through PlayMetrics. You will then complete registration and payment. Players who request partial financial aid will do so through the PlayMetrics registration. Registration fees, Cauley Creek usage fee, expected tournament cost, and expected uniform cost will be sent to players who receive invitations. We will update a link here on May 21 with initials or tryout numbers of who has made their respective teams.
Fees for Academy/SCCL
Cauley Creek Park Usage Fee: $125 (Residents of Johns Creek/Alpharetta), $225 for non-residents

U9/U10 Boys: $1,375 U11/U12 Boys: $1,475 U13/U14 Boys: $1,575
U9/U10 Girls: $1,075 U11/U12 Girls: $1,175 U13/U14 Girls: $1,275
Payment in full will receive a $100 discount or you will have a payment plan. Partial financial support is available for those in need. You will complete a questionnaire and the club will review on a case by case basis.
A tournament fee of $175 will be collected in early August. This will pay for three (3) tournaments throughout the year. Some teams may play in more additional tournaments. These funds will be collected by the coach or team manager.
Georgia Express Aretyn Uniform will be purchased directly from Aretyn. The cost is approximately $290.

MAKEUP TRYOUTS
Each year, several players earn roster spots through our Makeup Tryouts, including players who are later selected for SCCL and First Teams. Use Georgia Express Academy Tryouts link to sign-up for a Makeup Tryout.

TEAM CAMP AND PRACTICE SCHEDULE
We will communicate the schedule for Team Camp and practice days/times through PlayMetrics for those players who have registered. Look for this information June 1-15, depending on the age group. Practices will begin the week of July 27 or August 3, depending on the team.
FALL 2026 ACADEMY SCHEDULE

U12 Boys and Girls will have a separate league schedule, as well as U13 and older SCCL schedules.This is a work in progress, and game schedules will be available through PlayMetrics in August.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
U9-U16 teams will play a minimum of three (3) tournaments each year. $175 will be collected from players in August to fund the three tournaments. Some teams may play an additional one-two tournaments, which will be discussed with teams individually. Typical tournament schedule is August, November or February, and May. Georgia Express hosts two tournaments each year, the Georgia Express Boys Kickoff in late August and the Georgia Express Festival in May. Families are encouraged to volunteer to support the tournaments in a variety of ways before and during the tournaments.
