Paul Campbell New Goalkeeper Coach
Paul Campbell brings a strong background to Georgia Express. Paul played at the highest levels of soccer, with twelve caps for the Jamaican Men’s National team. His greatest achievement on the pitch was holding the US to a 0-0 draw during 1988 World Cup qualifying rounds.
As a coach, he held the position of Goalkeeper Coach for the Jamaican Men’s and Women’s National Teams (1997-2006), as well as most recently the Goalkeeper Coach for the Cayman Islands (2006-2010). His training includes stints with Paolo Cesar (Brazil GK Coach) and Bolton Wanderers FC from the English Premiership. Paul has held various Jamaican U20 and U17 roles during the last two decades as well.
Paul has coached in New Jersey at the club, high school, and college level prior to moving to Georgia in Spring 2010. Paul coached primarily U10-U16 girls at clubs including Princeton SA, East Brunswick, and Middletown.
Coach Paul will conduct weekly Goalkeeper training, as well as will coach one of our Academy teams. Players will have the opportunity to meet Coach Paul at our Academy/Select tryouts in June.
