Spring 2026 Rec Registration is now open for Boys born 2010-2021 and Girls born 2012-2021.
Georgia Express Rec Soccer Program serves the Johns Creek area. Practices and home games will be at Cauley Creek Park or Shakerag Elementary School. All new players will purchase a uniform for $45. Registration deadline is February 1. A late fee of $25 will apply to all registrations completed after February 1 if there are spots available. Costs are $150 (U6/U8), $200 (U10/U12), and $275 (U14/U16). Age groups are based on birth year; e.g., U6 is 2020/2021, U8 is 2018/2019, etc.
Families with two or more children participating will receive a $25 discount for the 2nd and more children (first child will not receive the discount). Players who are not residents of Johns Creek/Alpharetta will incur a 50% surcharge that will go to the City of Johns Creek.
Players born 2010-2017 will train twice per week for 75-90 minutes and will play either on teams or small-sided games on Saturday's. Rec practices are typically Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday for these age groups, although this is not guaranteed. Players born 2018-2019 will practice once a week plus games on Saturday's. Our volunteer coaches determine their preferred practice day for players born 2018-2021. If we do not have parent volunteers for the 2020-2021 age group, then we will only have Saturday sessions.
Our Volunteer Head Coaches will receive a $75 discount plus supplies and coaches training. Each Volunteer Coach will require a background check and online SafeSport Child Protection training. Our Coaches Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 14. If a Volunteer Head Coach is not identified, Georgia Express may pay a staff coach to train players and coach games. This may require an additional fee as well as will require a Team Parent to volunteer to handle team communication.
Be sure to list any friends or a coach that you would like to play with, we encourage this. All players should attend each practice with a soccer ball, shin guards, and plenty of water. Players should arrive for games at least 20 minutes before kickoff. Players wishing to play-up in age will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Head Coach and Director of Rec Soccer.
